Location:
Geographically placed in a better position at the centre of South India, Karnataka is one of the most advanced and prosperous states in India. Rich in natural resources, the state took the lead in adopting modern technology in the nineteenth century itself, as the princely state of Mysore. It was the first to produce and use electricity in India. With a long seacoast on the west and proper road, rail and air links on all other directions, Karnataka has been an ideal tourist/investment preference. Dense tropical forests, rivers and waterfalls, palm swaying golden beaches, architecture, art and culture add its importance.

Karnataka's heritage dates back to thousands of years. It is on the fast track of further development in its infrastructure, core industries, communication and particularly, in Information Technology. One can easily appreciate the blend of tradition and technology in today's Karnataka.
